Weekly during school term time there will be a drama session through the medium of Welsh followed by a session concentrating on either singing, clogging or folk dance. The Workshops have competed and won in several categories in many stages throughout Wales – Urdd and Llangollen and in 2009 won the main under 16 prize in the World Folk Dance Competition in Palma de Mallorca. – World Champions!!!! a feat repeated in 2011 - Double World Champions!!! Individuals have represented dance in the final of the prestigious televised BrynTerfel Prize, Trystan Gruffydd performed to great acclaim in 2013 and we wish Enlli Parry all the best in this years' final which will be held in October.
The workshops regularly perform shows and musicals. It has been the first step for many children to work professionally on stage and screen.

We meet every Tuesday evening at Ysgol Heol y Celyn 5.30 - 7.30 for primary school aged children and 6.30 – 8.30 for comprehensive school aged children in Ysgol Heol y Celyn, Holly St, Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd. Registration is on the first Tuesday of every term.

TO REGISTER> come to Ysgol Heol y Celyn • Rhydyfelin • Pontypridd between 5.30 and 7.00 Tuesday evening.

£10.00 per session (£7.50 for any additional children of the same family) to be paid per term or half term
